Tulsa Begins Three-Game Home Stand Thursday

TULSA, Okla., Jan. 3, 2012— The Tulsa 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, begin a three-game home stand this Thursday, Jan. 5, against the Texas Legends at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.

The 66ers (7-6) will then host the Maine Red Claws on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. before hosting the Austin Toros Sunday, Jan. 8, at 4 p.m. All games can be viewed online for free via webcast on nba.com/futurecast and can be heard in Tulsa on KAKC 1300 AM.

Tulsa is coming off of a 96-87 defeat to the Texas Legends (5-9) on the road last Friday night. The 66ers are 1-1 against the Legends this season. The weekend matchups will mark the first against the Red Claws (4-10) and the fourth against the Toros. Austin (9-3) holds a 2-1 advantage over the 66ers this season.

The 66ers marketing department has announced promotions for this week’s home contests. On Thursday against the Legends, fans can take advantage of $2 drafts. The 66ers will host “Scout Night” on Saturday as well as spotlight the Oklahoma Blood Institute. Also entertaining fans with a performance on Saturday evening will be Team USA Twist and Shout. Sunday the 66ers will host their annual dance clinic.
