TULSA, Okla., Dec. 6, 2011— The Tulsa 66ers (4-1) begin a three-game road trip this Wednesday, Dec. 7, when they travel to Austin to take on the Toros (2-1) for the third consecutive game. The team will then make its way to Dakota for games against the Wizards on Friday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (3 p.m.).

Wednesday’s night Western Conference showdown will begin at 7:30 p.m. inside Cedar Park Center. Austin won the first meeting between the two teams last Friday night by a 96-83 final score. Tulsa returned home to beat the Toros by a 109-96 final Saturday night in its home opener.

Tulsa will be under the direction of a new head coach Wednesday, as Dale Osbourne takes over for Nate Tibbetts, who accepted an opportunity to become an assistant coach with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday.

Wednesday’s meeting will mark the third of five meetings between Tulsa and Austin this season. They will square off in Tulsa on Jan. 8 and again in Austin on Feb. 22.
