Tulsa 66ers Announce 2013-14 Schedule

TULSA, Okla., September 5, 2013 - The NBA Development League released its schedule for the 2013-14 season Thursday with the Tulsa 66ers tipping off the year in back-to-back home games against the Iowa Energy on November 22 and 23.

The 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, will host 23 home games at the SpiritBank Event Center in Bixby, Okla. this season against 12 different opponents.

"We're excited for another season of 66ers basketball," said 66ers President Jim Brylewski. "We have 17 weekend home games which gives our fans plenty of great opportunities to come out and cheer on the 66ers."

In addition to the games in Tulsa, the 66ers will host the Iowa Energy at Chesapeake Energy Arena, home of the Thunder, in Oklahoma City on February 4. The inaugural OKC 66ers Field Trip Day will tip-off at 11 a.m.

The 66ers will compete in 24 road games along with a pair of neutral-site matchups at the NBA D-League Showcase in Reno, Nev.

Tulsa is coming off of its third trip to the NBA D-League Semifinals in the past four seasons after finishing 27-23 under first year head coach Darko Rajakovic in 2012-13. Last season, Tulsa saw five different Thunder players assigned to the 66ers a total of 40 times, the most NBA assignments in NBA D-League history.
