Tulsa held its second practice of training camp on Sunday morning at the SpiritBank Event Center. With the 66ers first preaseaon game just five days away, the coaching staff continued to transition the squad into the Tulsa system.

Following practice, Tulsa66ers.com spoke with one of Tulsa's four returning players - Garrett Williamson. Williamson was a 66er in the 2010-11 season before spending the past year playing overseas for Ehingen in Germany. The Saint Joseph's product talked about his time in Europe along with some personal goals he has in his return to the NBA Development League.

On the first two days of training camp...
[Practice] has been going well. Guys are really getting after it, working hard. We definitely got our skill work in, burn it up the first couple of days. It feels good to get back into the swing of things."


Tulsa plays a pair of preseason games in Carrollton, Texas, against Erie on Nov. 16 and Santa Cruz on Nov. 17.

The 66ers open the regular season at home against the Texas Legends on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. at the SpiritBank Event Center.

Tulsa assembled its 16-man training camp roster through the NBA D-League Draft, assignments from the Oklahoma City Thunder and by inviting back returning players and open tryout participants.

The 66ers named Darko Rajakovic as their head coach on October 31. A native of Serbia, Rajakovic is the first head coach born outside of North American in NBA D-League history.

Daniel Orton was called up from Tulsa to the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 31, making him the first NBA D-League player to receive a GATORADE Call Up this season.
