Earning 42 starts in Tulsa this season, Owens averaged 12.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.7 minutes.
Owens earned three 10-day contracts on the season, once with the Wizards on April 6 and the first of two consecutive contracts with the San Antonio Spurs on Jan. 16.
In total, 12 of the 15 players selected to this year’s All-NBA D-League First, Second and Third Teams have NBA experience, 10 earned GATORADE Call-Ups this season and eight are currently on NBA rosters.
