HIDALGO, Texas, March 30, 2012 Jerome Dyson poured in a game-high 28 points and Marcus Lewis and Ryan Reid each earned double-doubles, but the Tulsa 66ers (22-25) were edged on the road by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (23-24) by a 94-93 final tally Friday night inside State Farm Arena.

Lewis notched 12 points and 12 rebounds for his league-leading 32nd double-double of the season while Reid tallied 10 points and 10 boards for his ninth double-double this year.

Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Robert Vaden with 17 and Dwight Buycks with 14. It marked the 25th time this season Tulsa had five players record double-digit scoring.

Tulsa tallied 16 assists on the offensive end, led by four dishes each from Buycks, Dyson and Larry Owens. The 66ers were sharp from beyond the arc, going 7-of-16 (.438) from long range, including a 4-of-5 effort from Vaden.

The 66ers, who outrebounded the Vipers by a 46-42 margin, forced 20 turnovers and created 14 steals in the contest, led by four thefts from Buycks.

Greg Smith led the Vipers with 25 points and 11 rebounds and Malcolm Thomas notched 22 points and 14 boards.
