Here are three fan-submitted questions with Coach Darko’s answers in this week’s mailbag:

What kind of impact do you expect the All-Star break to have on our guys? – Tony in Sand Springs
“The All-Star break was good for us because it gave our guys a chance to go home and spend some time with their families. That’s always important for them to get energy and charge their batteries. It should give us good results in the long term, because looking to the end of the season we have 19 games in a month and a half, so our guys needed this. At the same time, the stretch between our last game and our next game is 10 days, which is always a challenge to help get back into a rhythm. We’re trying to use this week to have as many game-like situations as possible and to have our guys ready for this weekend.”

What kind of goals do you have for the team during the second half of the season? - Neil in Tulsa
“Besides our everyday goals of working to get better, improve and work hard, we’ll be focused to try and play our best basketball. First of all, we want to show to ourselves that our players have improved and are still improving and to show everybody else that we can play basketball on an extremely high level.”

How well has Chris Quinn adjusted to the Oklahoma City and Tulsa system? – Elliott in Tulsa
“Chris is a great professional. Since day one, he didn’t have any problem integrating into our system. He’s integrated with all of our staff and players and right away was trying to learn our system and get into it. His experience in playing in the NBA and playing overseas definitely helps. He’s working on his game a lot and improving his pick and roll game offensively and defensively. Chris is bringing a lot of leadership to our team and is doing a great job for us.”
