66ERS TRAINING CAMP ROSTER FILLING OUT AS DRAFT NEARS
2009 NBA D-League Draft set for Thursday at 6 pm

Tulsa, Okla., November 4, 2009 Ė The Tulsa 66ers announced today that nine players will be invited to their 2009-10 training camp. The nine players are a combination of returning players from last season, allocation players based on regional ties and local tryout invitees.

The training camp invitees include returning players Moses Ehambe, Yemi Ogunoye, Keith Clark and Steven Hill. Former Oral Roberts forward Larry Owens, and former Oklahoma State guard Byron Eaton qualified as allocation players, while guards Mitch Johnson from Stanford, Ansel Guzman from Puerto Rico, and forward Marcus Lewis from Oral Roberts each had impressive showings at the Tulsa local player tryout.

Ehambe finished last season with the 66ers playing in all 50 games of the regular season, averaging 10.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per contest. Ogunoye started 48 games, averaging 6.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Clark played in 49 games, averaging 12.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists, while also finishing runner-up in the 2009 NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest during NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix. Hill played in seven games, averaging 7.6 points, and 5.6 rebounds.

After averaging 12.5 points, and 7.9 rebounds per game his senior season at ORU, Owens spent the past three seasons playing professionally in France and Belgium. Owens was recently released by the New Orleans Hornets.

Eaton played the past four seasons at Oklahoma State, finishing his career averaging 10.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game. He finished his career with the Cowboys second all-time in total assists, and was named Third Team All-Big 12 for his junior and senior seasons.

Lewis finished his senior season at ORU, averaging career-bests of 13.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists over 31 games. The 6-8 forward finished as an All-Summit League First Team selection during the 2008-09 season and finished third all-time in career field goal percentage.

Johnson started all 32 games that he played in for Stanford last season, averaging 6.6 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per contest.

Guzman averaged 13.4 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.0 rebounds playing in Puerto Rico in 2009.

Ehambe, Ogunoye, Clark, Hill, and Owens are scheduled be at the Tulsa 66ers Draft Party at Leonís on the Restless Ribbon, Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6 pm. Players will be available to fans for a meet and greet, sign autographs, and chat about the upcoming season. The remainder of the 66ers training camp roster will be selected during the eight rounds of the draft.
