66ers to Wear Special Uniforms To Benefit SNU – Tulsa Scholarships

TULSA, Okla., March 6, 2014 - The Tulsa 66ers announced today that they will wear special uniforms in their March 8 home contest against the Texas Legends to benefit the scholarship fund of Southern Nazarene University – Tulsa.

The 66ers' customized jerseys, which feature SNU - Tulsa's logo, will be auctioned and raffled off to fans with the proceeds going to the university’s scholarship fund. The funds raised will help provide prospective students with necessary financial aid to complete their undergraduate degrees. These scholarships are exclusively allocated to working adults in the Tulsa area.

Fans will have the opportunity to bid for select player-worn jerseys through a silent auction in the SpiritBank Event Center’s lobby before and during the 66ers game, set to tip off at 7 p.m. The 66ers will also raffle off select jerseys and will announce the raffle winners during the second half. Fans unable to attend the game can take part in an online auction for certain game-worn jerseys on Tulsa66ers.com beginning Sunday, March 9.
