The players spent one hour reading to approximately 60 students ranging from kindergarten to the fifth grade.

“It is vital that our students get to know the people in their community,” Marshall Elementary community coordinator Amy Putman said. “Having the 66ers come and read and speak to our students helps them understand that school is important no matter what job you pursue. They are able to see community members as role models and it gives them one more push in the right direction.”
