66ers Team Up with Recycling Center During NBA D-League Green Week

TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa 66ers players and staff were back in the community on Tuesday volunteering at The Met Recycling Center in Tulsa. In conjunction with NBA D-League Green Week, 66ers players, front office staff and season ticket holders performed multiple tasks around the center, including planting flowers and bushes.

Jacob Niebergall, Media Specialist for the Met Center, thanked the entire 66ers organization for the assistance.

“The 66ers helped with the overall beautification of our main Tulsa recycling branch,” he said. “It is important that the center is taken care of, and the players and staff specifically helped with the overall maintenance of our flower beds. We are happy to partner with the team and the D-League in this great cause.”
