66ers Shift Focus to Texas

TULSA, Okla.— The Tulsa 66ers (10-11) return to the court this Wednesday, Jan. 18, with a road contest against the Texas Legends (8-13) in Frisco. The game, scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. CT inside Dr. Pepper Arena, can be viewed online for free via webcast at nba.com/futurecast and can be heard in Tulsa on KAKC 1300 AM.

Tulsa is coming off of a narrow 110-103 home defeat to the Canton Charge in overtime on Monday night. Texas outlasted Erie in its contest by a 96-90 final on Saturday.

The 66ers and Legends have met four times already this season, with each club winning two. In the last matchup, Texas outscored Tulsa by a 94-86 final at the 2012 NBA D-League Showcase on Jan. 10.

The 66ers are coming off of eight games in a span of 12 days, which included four-straight road contests and two overtime decisions.

“Nobody said that the season is going to be easy,” 66ers head coach Dale Osbourne said. “Our players will face adversity on and off the court this season, and what will count is how they respond. I fully expect our players to be focused Wednesday and continue playing hard for each other.”
