66ers Set to Host Iowa Energy this Friday and Saturday

TULSA, Okla., March 20, 2012 The Tulsa 66ers (21-22), winners of five consecutive games, return to the hardwood for back-to-back home games against the Iowa Energy (22-18) this Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24. Both contests are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.

The weekend games can be heard in Tulsa on KAKC 1300 AM and be viewed online for free via webcast at nba.com/futurecast.

The 66ers fifth straight win came against the Springfield Armor last Saturday night at home, 97-88. The Iowa Energy dropped their last contest to the Canton Charge last Friday night, 104-95.

The 66ers and Energy have met twice already this season in Iowa, with each team claiming a victory. In the last meeting on Jan. 21, the 66ers notched a 98-91 road victory.

The Tulsa 66ers marketing department has announced promotions for the upcoming weekend. Fans will be entertained on Friday by the 66ers Drum Line and the Byng High School Winter Guard. On Saturday, Tulsa fans will be treated to performances by 66ers dance team clinic participants, the Morris High School Cheerleading squad, Team USA Cheer and the Northeastern Oklahoma Square Dance Association.

Also on hand to entertain fans both nights will be the 66ers dance team and Routie the Roadrunner.
