Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Jerome Dyson with 17, Ryan Reid with 12 and Delroy James with 11.
The 66ers, who have won six of their past seven contests, racked up 18 assists on the offensive end of the floor and connected on 8-of-18 (.444) shots from beyond the arc. Also aiding in the win was a 52-32 scoring advantage in the paint.
Tulsa, who led by as many as 21 on the night, was also strong defensively by forcing 26 Iowa turnovers and creating 11 steals.
“I thought we came out with a lot of energy tonight and really executed our offense,” 66ers head coach Dale Osbourne said. “Everyone was engaged defensively. Just a total team effort.”
Iowa was led by Cartier Martin with a team-high 22 points. Ben Strong pulled down seven rebounds and Curtis Stinson registered five helpers.
The 66ers return to action this Tuesday, March 27, against the Bakersfield Jam in their final regular season home contest. The game is scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.
