This week, members of the Tulsa 66ers Dance team participated in a Saint Francis Hospital sponsored ‘Fit & Fun’ Assembly at Eliot Elementary School near Brookside in Tulsa. Tulsa dancers taught the “Cha Cha Slide,” the “Cupid Shuffle,” and the “Macarena” to more than 300 energetic elementary school students, while also educating them on the importance of staying physically active and eating a balanced and nutritious diet.

The students also learned how to measure their heartbeat. Every student in attendance left with a Tulsa 66ers poster, tickets to an upcoming game, or both!

The themes and lessons taught at the Fit and Fun Assembly mirror those that will be facilitated at the Tulsa 66ers Kids Day game on Wednesday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m.
