66ers Announce End of the Year Promotions

TULSA, Okla., March 20, 2013 – With three home games remaining in the 2012-13 regular season, the Tulsa 66ers have announced exciting game-night promotions for the remainder of the season. The 66ers will host a blood drive, Thunder Affiliate Night, Hoops and Harley’s Bike Show and Fan Appreciation Night.

The 66ers, in partnership with the Oklahoma Blood Institute, are hosting a blood drive on Saturday, March 23, from 4-8 p.m. prior to that night’s game against the Iowa Energy. Fans participating in the blood drive will receive a free Oklahoma City Thunder t-shirt and tickets to Tulsa’s season finale on April 6 (while supplies last).

On Saturday, March 30, the Oklahoma City Thunder is taking over the game-night entertainment as Tulsa hosts Thunder Affiliate Night against the Austin Toros. Rumble the Bison, the Thunder Girls, the Storm Chasers and more will all be on hand to bring the Thunder game-night experience to Bixby. March 30 is also Turn Bixby Pink Night, where fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness through the “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign, presented by Turn Tulsa Pink.

The 66ers will host their first annual Hoops and Harleys Bike Show on April 6 prior to their game against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The event is presented by The HOGS (Harley Owners Group), Folds of Honor and Route 66 Harley Davidson and will take place in the north parking lot of the SpiritBank Event Center starting at 2 p.m.

Motorcycle owners and enthusiasts can register their bikes for the afternoon’s bike contest. The judging will begin at 4 p.m. with chances to win in 12 different categories. The bike show will be serving food and drinks and feature live music from the Loaded Dice. The 66ers’ Dance Team, Harley’s Angels Girls and Routie the Roadrunner will all make an appearance.

April 6 is also Fan Appreciation Night. The 66ers will be thanking their fans for their loyal support through numerous giveaways, including gift certificates, Tulsa 66ers and Oklahoma City Thunder memorabilia and more.
