TULSA, Okla., April 12, 2011— The Tulsa 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, announced Tuesday they have signed forwards Dante Milligan and Billy Rush via the available player pool. The two players were added to the 66ers roster after Robert Vaden and Larry Owens were recently signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder and Washington Wizards, respectively.

Milligan, 6-9/215, played for the Springfield Armor of the NBA D-League in 2009-10, and in 42 games (21 starts) averaged 7.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game in 25.5 minutes.

Milligan played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts and as a senior averaged 9.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game. His 64 percent field goal percentage as a senior marked the second-highest single-season percentage in school history. After leading his team to the NIT Tournament in his final season, Milligan was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 15.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Rush, 6-7/200, played collegiately for Robert Morris, a NAIA school out of Chicago, where he averaged 15.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in his senior campaign in 2010. He led the team to back-to-back NAIA Final Four appearances in 2009 and 2010 and was named NAIA All-American as well as the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2010. Rush participated in training camp with the Milwaukee Bucks prior to the start of this season.

Both will be in uniform in Tulsa’s semifinal matchup against the winner of the Iowa-Utah Series. Milligan will wear jersey No. 50 and Rush will wear No. 14.
