66ERS ACQUIRE GUARD WINK ADAMS

TULSA, Okla., March 17, 2010 – The Tulsa 66ers announced today that the team has acquired free agent guard Wink Adams.

The 6-0 guard played most recently in Turkey, where he averaged 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals in 18 games. Adams participated in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in 2009 as a member of the New York Knicks.

Adams played at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and averaged 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals in 133 games over four seasons for the Rebels. Adams was named to the 2008-09 All-Mountain West Conference First Team and All-Mountain West Tournament MVP during his senior season.

The Houston, Texas native will wear jersey number 7 and join the team today for practice.
