66ers in the Community: Fit Clinic

TULSA, Okla., Nov. 22, 2010 – Tulsa 66ers players took a timeout to visit Nimitz Middle School in Tulsa to conduct a “66ers Fit” clinic to approximately 50 students from grades fifth through eighth.

66ers guard Jerome Dyson, forward Latavious Williams and center Marcus Lewis led the students in the clinic which focuses on strength training, cardio/basketball drills, abdominal/core training and nutrition/hydration. The goal is to encourage students to lead healthier, more active lives, and learn simple and fun ways to by physically active each day.
