66ers in the Community: Food Bank

TULSA, Okla., Nov. 23, 2010 – Members of the Tulsa 66ers squad recently visited the Donald W. Reynolds Food Distribution Center in Tulsa to assist in sorting and packaging donated food items to be sent out to those in need for the Thanksgiving holiday.

“The food bank could not exist without the wonderful support of this community, and the 66ers are a great example,” Deputy Director of Business Development Cindy Cummins said. “The players came in today and pre-sorted items that had been gathered by a food drive. We are extremely grateful they took time out of their busy schedules to give back.”
