The NBA Development League Referee Tryouts offer the opportunity for select referees to learn from, and demonstrate their skills before Referee Operations personnel from the NBA, WNBA and the NBA Development League. Each participating referee will officiate two games featuring prospective NBA Development League players.
Dates and Location
The NBA Development League Referee Tryouts will take place on June 15 in New York.
Eligibility
Space in each tryout is limited. Participants will be selected based on officiating experience, which must include, at a minimum, two years of officiating at the high school level or higher.
Costs
Participants attending each tryout will be required to pay in advance a fee of $150, which is payable upon selection to the tryouts.

To apply for a tryout, please fill out the
online application form. If you are not already a member, you must sign up for a free NBA All-Access membership in order to fill out the form.
