NEW YORK, March 24, 2012 – The Oklahoma City Thunder today assigned rookie guard Reggie Jackson to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder’s NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment marks the record 58th time an NBA player has been assigned to his NBA D-League affiliate during the 2011-12 season, and it is the first assignment for Jackson.
Selected by Oklahoma City in the first round (24th overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft, Jackson has appeared in 41 games with the Thunder this season, averaging 3.4 points, 1.7 assists, 1.2 rebounds and 11.8 minutes.
A three-year contributor at Boston College, Jackson was named to the All-ACC First Team in 2011.
