Come celebrate JR Slagendorff’s Birthday!

FRISCO, November 25, 2009 - After hosting the biggest Frisco watch party to-date on Wednesday night, NBA D-League Frisco looks forward to the next watch party on Saturday, November 28 at Dave and Busters Stonebriar Mall. The party begins at 6 pm, as the Mavericks take on the Cavaliers at 6:30 pm.

In addition to watching the game, fans have the opportunity to win prizes and meet celebrities!!! Saturday’s party includes a celebration for JR Slagendorff’s birthday, and there will be birthday cake available.

“I’m really honored that Donnie would remember my birthday this year.” Slagendorff commented. “It’s like we’re almost family. For the first time in my life I just don’t know what to say. I guess all I can say is that I hope the birthday cake is big enough.”

A variety of NBA D-League Frisco personnel will be present, and non-perishable food items will be accepted for donation to Metrocrest Food Bank. The franchise is accepting suggestions for a team name. Suggestions can be submitted on the team website at www.nbadleaguefrisco.com, as well as at the watch party Saturday evening.
