Texas Legends Honor Our Country

LIMITED TIME OFFER INCLUDES DONATION TO OPERATION HOMEFRONT

FRISCO, TX – From the outset, the Legends have been inspired by the legendary men and women of Texas, and the United States. In celebration of the greatest country on earth, the Texas Legends announced a limited time, limited availability ticket promotion that includes a donation to Operation Homefront (http://www.operationhomefront.net/texas/).

“The name ‘Texas Legends’ is a tribute to the men and women who have made our great country what it is today,” owner Donnie Nelson commented. “We celebrate those who’ve sacrificed and achieved the honorable. In light of recent events in our country we need to continue to support those who have made the greatest sacrifice to keep our country safe. It has been 215 years since the inception of the United States, and we appreciate the efforts of all of those who have come before us.”

In a celebration of the United States of America, the Legends are offering a “Celebrate America” season ticket package for as little as $215 through May 13, 2011. The package includes all 24 games of the upcoming Legends season. Furthermore, the Legends will donate 10% of all “Celebrate America” proceeds to Operation Homefront.

“It is our mission to constantly give back to our community,” commented Texas Legends co-owner Evan Wyly. “Our community is not only Frisco, but also extends to Texas and the greatest country in the world – the United States of America. We not only want to give back to the community at our games, but also year-round. It is our honor and pleasure to donate funds towards Operation Homefront.”
