Legends Announce Boys and Girls Club of Collin County Night, Presented by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano
The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), have announced a unique partnership with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano to celebrate the Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County. The night will recognize the effort placed into positively impacting the youth of Collin County and will be enjoyed by 500 boys and girls from the clubs.

The Legends will wear customized jerseys celebrating Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County and the impression that they are making on our future. Select jerseys will be available via a silent auction during the game, with all proceeds going to BGCCC and their efforts. As part of the festivities of the night, select individuals from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and BGCCC will be recognized as “Legends of the Night.”
The Legends face the Bakersfield Jam at 7 pm on March 19th. The game will be the fourth and final regular season matchup between the two teams with as the Legends look to even the series with a win. The Legends (21-23) are coming off a loss to Tulsa and fighting for playoff contention, while the Jam (16-24) are on a two-game win streak after defeating Austin at home and Tulsa on the road. Bakersfield is led by NBA D-League top prospects Jerel McNeal (17.3 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 6.0 apg) and Ike Diogu (16.9 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 1.5 apg). The Legends will also be powered on by two top prospects in Damion James (22.8 ppg, 12.0 rpg, 2.0 apg) and PJ Hairston (21.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 0.8 apg).
The game will be broadcast live on television—KTXD47—and radio—KVCE 1160am.
