Legends Attending InTouch Credit Union Grand Opening in McKinney

FRISCO, Texas, July 14, 2011 – InTouch Credit Union, a founding sponsor of the Texas Legends, is hosting a grand opening celebration for their new branch in McKinney, Texas on August 13 from 12-2 p.m.

The Texas Legends will be at the celebration, with a special Legends celebrity. Everyone who attends will also have the chance to play with the celebrity on the inflatable Legends basketball game.

“InTouch Credit Union and the Texas Legends believe that investment and partnership are the essential ingredients needed to foster economic growth, civic pride, and unity within a community. We hope that our demonstrative commitment to invest and expand services in north DFW inspires other outstanding leaders and organizations to do the same. The Texas Legends are an exemplary organization and we mutually believe our best days are ahead of us,” says Kent Lugrand, President and CEO, InTouch Credit Union.

The Summer Sizzle celebration will have a DJ, a face painter, and food including hamburgers, hot dogs and snow cones. The Frisco RoughRiders’ mascot, Deuce, will also be in attendance, along with CHIP, InTouch’s mascot for their youth accounts.

InTouch’s family-friendly event has a back-to-school and recycling theme and will have a shred truck on site. Attendees are encouraged to bring papers and documents they would like to shred, and everything that goes through the shred truck will be recycled.

Everyone who comes to the celebration will have the opportunity to enter to win and leave with one of three grand prizes: an iPad, a Kindle, or a Flip Video Camera.

“InTouch Credit Union is a tremendous community partner,” Legends Owner Donnie Nelson commented. “It meant a lot to the Legends for InTouch to join us as a Founding Partner because of how their community values mirror the Legends’. I completely agree with Kent in that both InTouch and the Legends have great things in front of us.”

The new McKinney branch officially opens July 6 and is located at 6375 W. Eldorado Parkway.
