SPRINGFIELD, MA Dec. 9, 2009 – The Springfield Armor today announced that Brayden Billbe will be rejoining the roster after being cut on November 25th before the final roster was named. Billbe will be replacing forward, Dante Milligan, after a blow to the nose in last Saturday’s game against The Maine Red Claws took him out of the game after only one minute of play.

“Brayden was with us during training camp and understands how the NBA D-League system works” said Head Coach Dee Brown, “We welcome Brayden back to the city of Springfield and the Armor organization. We liked his hard work and understanding of our system on both ends of the court.”

Billbe will be making his Armor debut this Thursday when the Armor take on The Tulsa 66ers at home at 7 p.m.

Milligan has been waived due to injury from the Armor roster and will be re-evaluated after a week. He has been confirmed as having a broken nose and will be undergoing surgery today.

The Armor have been promoting this game as the “Playing it Forward Night” in which all fans are encouraged to bring out their new and gently used sporting goods equipment to donate to underprivileged children in the area. The Armor have partnered with the YMCA of Greater Springfield and the Playing it Forward Organization, in order to collect and distribute the donations. As an added incentive for fans to donate, the Armor will be issuing two (2) free tickets to a future game for those making donations that evening.
