Armor Release Major Wingate
SPRINGFIELD, MA Jan. 26, 2010 – The Springfield Armor today announced that the team has released Major Wingate for personal reasons. As of now the Armor have no replacement and will currently play with an eight man roster.
The Armor play both the Erie BayHawks and Fort Wayne Mad Ants on the road this week, but return to Springfield on Saturday, Jan. 30 to take on Erie again at 1 p.m. Saturday is the Armor’s NBA Affiliate Day in which the Armor will showcase the team's three NBA Affiliates, the New York Knicks, the New Jersey Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers.
Tickets are still on sale and can be purchased by logging on to www.armorhoops.com or by visiting the MassMutual Center Box Office. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5, Saturday, 10 to game time.
