Hill, a 5’9 rookie out of Minnesota State, was the Armor’s sixth round draft choice (80th overall) in this year’s NBA Development League Draft. He was one of the last two players released by the Armor prior to the conclusion of training camp on Nov. 23.
Prior to joining the Armor, Hill played four years at Division II Minnesota State, achieving All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) first-team status during his senior season. Hill’s collegiate career ended in the 2010 NCAA Elite 8 when Minnesota State was eliminated by eventual national champion Bellarmine University at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.
Hill, 22, will wear jersey No. 7 and will be available when the Armor take on the Maine Red Claws on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7:00 PM at the MassMutual Center. Per a recent league announcement, NBA D-League teams will be permitted to carry and dress for games a maximum of 12 players until one week after the commencement of NBA training camps.
