Alex Schwerin | President

Alex is in his seventh year with the HWS Group and fourth year as President of the Springfield Armor. Prior to his arrival in Springfield, Alex spent five years in minor league baseball working for the Modesto Nuts, the Class A California League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. His career in Modesto began in February of 2004 as the Director of Operations. He was promoted to Assistant General Manager prior to the 2005 season and promoted to General Manager before the 2008 season. While in Modesto Alex built a strong relationship with the team’s major league affiliate the Colorado Rockies. He was also instrumental in major staff accomplishments during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. During those two years the organization broke the full season attendance record twice and the single game attendance record three times. In 2008, the Modesto Nuts were winners of the “Small Business of the Year” award presented by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce.
A native of Cohasset, Mass., Alex graduated from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst with a degree in Sport Management in May 2003. While acquiring his degree Alex spent four years as an Operations Manager at the Mullins Center Arena on campus and spent all four summers working in the Operations Department for the Bay State Games. Away from work Alex enjoys traveling with his wife Jen and spending time with family and friends.
Eli Pearlstein | Director of Public Relations

Eli is in his third year with the Springfield Armor organization. Eli joined the organization as the team's Marketing & Public Relations manager in November 2010 and was promoted to the position of Director of Marketing & Public Relations in April 2011 before transitioning into his current role as the team's Director of Public Relations. Eli previously worked for United Sports Associates, where he worked on event marketing and sponsorship sales packages.
Prior to joining United Sports Associates, Eli was the Sports Director for the University of Connecticut’s student radio station, WHUS-Storrs, and wrote extensively for GateHouse News Media Inc.
Eli graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in journalism and political science and a minor in history from the University of Connecticut in 2010.
Eli is a native of Swampscott, Mass. and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. He is an avid Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan.
Kyle Knickerbocker | Director of Ticket Sales

Kyle spent two seasons with the Springfield Armor as an Account Executive and was promoted to the position of Group Sales Manager in May 2012 before transitioning into his current role as the Armor's Director of Ticket Sales. Prior to joining the Armor, he worked as an Account Manager for the New Jersey Nets during the 2009-2010 season. Kyle also previously worked for the PGA TOUR, where he interned in the tournament operations department for The Barclays.
Kyle is a 2009 graduate of Western New England University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management.
As a passionate fan of the locally hated New York Jets and New York Yankees, Kyle makes regular weekend trips back to his hometown of Monroe, New York, during the offseason and attends games at the Meadowlands and Yankee Stadium. However, his number one commitment is to the continued growth of the NBA Development League in the Springfield community.
Brad Medeiros | Sales & Marketing Manager

Brad is in his second year with the Springfield Armor. Brad transitioned into his current role as a Sales & Marketing Manager following stints as an Account Executive and Inside Sales Representative. Brad began his career with the Armor in the summer of 2011 as an intern.
Brad graduated from Western New England University in 2011 with degrees in Sports Management and Marketing. As an undergraduate, Brad played for WNE's football team and was a starter on the ECAC champion Golden Bears during his senior season.
Away from the office, Brad enjoys rooting for his Boston sports teams, camping and snowboarding.
