The 7th Annual Roger D. Larsen Benefit Golf Tournament raised $27,885 for various charitable foundations, pushing the seven-year total to $228,255.

A majority of the money will be donated to the Roger D. Larsen Scholarship Fund at Dakota State University in Madison, S.D. The rest of the money will be donated to other charitable foundations supported by the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Roger Larsen was a member of the Sioux Falls Skyforce ownership group from 1993-99 and again from 2001 until his life came to a tragic halt on Feb. 13, 2002. Larsen and current Skyforce owner Greg Heineman were business partners at Williams Insurance for 31 years prior to his unexpected death.
