Mike Gorsett, who served as director of ticketing this past season, returns for his second season and first as assistant general manager. He will continue to oversee all ticketing aspects of the organization and work with current and potential corporate partners.

Gorsett joins the Skyforce from Sioux City where he was most recently the assistant general manager for the Sioux City Explorers, an independent baseball team in the American Association. He began his tenure with the Explorers in the summer of 2002 as a ticketing intern. He was hired full-time the following summer as the director of ticketing. In the summer of 2004 he added the title of director of stadium operations and was promoted to assistant general manager prior to the 2005 season.

The Sioux City, Iowa native graduated from Briar Cliff University, where he was a four-year letter winner in baseball, in May of 2003 with a degree in Sport Management.

Mike and his wife, Jessica, reside in Sioux Falls.
