Skyforce Adds Account Executive

Sioux Falls, S.D. (June 6, 2007) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today the hiring of Brian Kerr as an Account Executive. In his position he will pursue new season ticket holders, seek out prospective groups and help strengthen the relationship with current season ticket holders.

Kerr recently completed his classroom work at Wayne State College in May and his full-time position with the Skyforce will fulfill his internship obligations in order to obtain his degree in Sport Management this fall. He attended the University of South Dakota prior to spending his final two years of college at WSC.

He gained valuable experience while in college as he performed various duties for the USD athletic program such as selling tickets to sporting events, coordinating halftime and timeout music and assisting the PA announcer and sports information crew during games. He continued his involvement in sports after transferring to WSC as he coordinated various on-court promotions and halftime entertainment in addition to selling game programs at athletic events. This past season he volunteered his services during the 2007 NBA Development League Showcase and several other games throughout the season.

"We are excited about adding Brian to our staff and he will undoubtedly make our organization even stronger," said Skyforce president/owner Mike Heineman. "He is excited to be a part of our tradition here in Sioux Falls and will help us increase our league-leading attendance as we enter our second season in the NBA Development League."

In other personnel news, the Skyforce also announced the promotion of Mike Gorsett to Assistant General Manager. Gorsett recently finished his first season with the Skyforce organization as Director of Ticketing.
