Brett Hansen

Brett Hansen returns for his fourth season with the organization as the media/public relations director. In his position he serves as the liaison between local and national media and the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Hansen served as the clubhouse manager for the Sioux City Explorers, an independent minor league baseball team, in the summer of 2001. He added two more summers of experience in baseball as a media relations intern for the Explorers (2002) and Coastal Bend Aviators (2003). He joined the Great Lakes Storm of the Continental Basketball Association as media relations director during the 2004-05 season before accepting the same position with the Skyforce in August of 2005. He was named 2006 CBA Public Relations Director of the Year following his first season in Sioux Falls.

A native of South Sioux City, Neb., Hansen graduated from Wayne State College in August of 2003 with a degree in Sport Management. He was the student manager for the men's basketball team during his four years at Wayne State College.

Brett and his wife, Krissy, reside in Sioux Falls.
