Brett Hansen returns for his eighth season with the organization as media/public relations director. In his position he serves as the liaison between local and national media and the Skyforce.
He held the role of media/public relations director for the Great Lakes Storm of the Continental Basketball Association during the 2004-05 season before accepting the same position with the Skyforce in August of 2005. He was named 2006 CBA Public Relations Director of the Year following his first season in Sioux Falls. He also worked three seasons in minor league baseball as he was the clubhouse manager for the Sioux City Explorers (2001) and media relations intern for the Explorers and Coastal Bend Aviators in 2002 and 2003, respectively.
A native of South Sioux City, Neb., Hansen graduated from Wayne State College in August of 2003 with a degree in Sport Management. He was the student manager for the men's basketball team during his four years at WSC.
Brett and his wife, Krissy, reside in Sioux Falls with their daughter, Riley.
