Amanda Simon returns for her seventh season with the Skyleaders dance program and fifth as director. Originally from Brandon, S.D., Simon recently graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in May with her Master's of Education degree. In addition to overseeing the Skyleaders, she served as assistant competitive dance coach for Lincoln High School, choreographs and directors theatre camp for the Mighty Corson Art Players, and is a Zumba instructor. The former Skyleader (2006-08) has also appeared in local productions of Chicago, Fame, Godspell and Seussical the Musical.
