Sioux Falls, SD (July 7, 2006) – One of several NBA Summer Leagues began yesterday in Las Vegas and will continue through the 14th of July. In the coming weeks other summer leagues will tip off including the Southern California Summer Pro League in Long Beach, Calif. (July 8-22); the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando, Fla. (July 10-14); and the Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City, Utah (July 14-21). Several former Skyforce players are playing in the various summer leagues and hope to earn an invitation to training camp in October.

Skyforce fans should also follow the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves this summer as their draft picks will see how they stand up against other NBA players. There are also undrafted free agents that could possibly earn a roster spot and be eligible to play for the Skyforce next season.
