Warriors Assign Kent Bazemore To Santa Cruz Warriors
Rookie Will Join Golden State’s D-League Affiliate For Friday’s Season-Opening Game At Reno

The Golden State Warriors have assigned guard/forward Kent Bazemore to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League, the team announced today. He is slated to join Golden State’s D-League affiliate in time for the team’s regular-season opener tonight in Reno.

Bazemore, 23, has seen limited action in six games with Golden State this season, recording a total of 10 minutes played. He was originally signed by the Warriors as a free agent on July 26, 2012, following a successful stint on the team’s Summer League squad in which he averaged 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.50 steals and 1.75 blocks.

The Santa Cruz Warriors are preparing to tip-off their inaugural season opener on the road against the Reno Bighorns on Friday, November 30. After a seven game road trip, the team will return to Santa Cruz for their home opener against the Bakersfield Jam on December 23.

The Santa Cruz Warriors are the NBA Development League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. Season tickets and mini-plans are currently on sale at www.santacruzbasketball.com or Santa Cruz Warriors Headquarters at 903 Pacific Avenue.
