Three Santa Cruz Warriors players highlight the 2013-14 All-NBA D-League selections as voted by the League’s 17 head coaches, the NBA D-League announced today.
Hilton Armstrong has been named to the All-NBA D-League Second Team and the All-NBA D-League Defensive Second Team. Armstrong earned three GATORADE Call-Ups to the Golden State Warriors during the 2013-14 season, and he has appeared in all five of Golden State’s first round playoff contests against the Los Angeles Clippers. Armstrong appeared in 32 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors during the 2013-14 season, averaging 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.75 blocks while hitting 55.9 percent from the field.
Seth Curry has been selected to the All-NBA D-League Third Team and All-NBA D-League Rookie First Team. Curry appeared in 38 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors during the 2013-14 season, averaging 19.7 points and 5.8 assists per contest. He scored a Santa Cruz Warriors all-time high 44 points against the Los Angeles D-Fenders on April 10 in Game 1 of the first round of the NBA D-League Playoffs. Curry earned GATORADE Call-Ups to the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 21, 2014 and Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 24, 2013.
Cameron Jones has earned All-NBA D-League Honorable Mention honors after averaging 19.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in 49 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors during the 2013-14 season. Jones averaged 25.4 points per contest in the NBA D-League Playoffs, helping lead the Santa Cruz Warriors to their second consecutive berth in the NBA D-League Finals.
Armstrong, Curry and Jones represented the Santa Cruz Warriors at the 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game in New Orleans.
