Seven Former Santa Cruz Warriors Invited to NBA Training Camps

Seven players who were members of the Santa Cruz Warriors during the team’s inaugural campaign have been invited to NBA training camps. Invitees include Cameron Jones, the NBA D-League’s Most Improved Player, who has been named to the Golden State Warriors training camp roster. Chris Johnson, who played 30 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves after earning the first GATORADE Call-Up in Santa Cruz Warriors history, is a member of Minnesota’s training camp roster. Daniel Nwaelele, who made the Santa Cruz Warriors after attending an open tryout session in Oakland last season, has been invited to the San Antonio Spurs training camp.
