Santa Cruz Warriors To Pick 13th In NBA Development League Draft
Draft Date Announced For Nov. 2

The NBA Development League announced today that the Santa Cruz Warriors will pick 13th in the NBA D-League draft, which is set to begin at 4:00 Pacific time on Friday, November 2. Santa Cruz Warriors management and coaches will communicate via teleconference with the League’s New York headquarters from the Warriors front office at 903 Pacific Avenue. The Warriors storefront will remain open to anybody who is interested in learning more about the team and its newest additions.

“The talent pool expected in this year’s NBA D-League draft is incredible,” said Santa Cruz Warriors General Manager Kirk Lacob. “This is our opportunity to find people who complement our returning players and fill out our roster, and it’s another step towards our first home game on December 23!”

The draft order was determined based on teams that did not qualify for last season’s playoffs, in reverse order of record, followed by those teams that did qualify, also in reverse order of record.

Each of the NBA D-League’s 16 teams will be given one pick in each of the eight rounds. No trades will be permitted during the draft and only players signed to an NBA Development League Standard Player Contract are eligible to be selected. The order for each round of the 2012 NBA D-League Draft is as follows:
