Please keep in mind that the majority of our employees are hired as either an Usher or Parking Attendant.

Usher & Courtesy Crew Member
The Santa Cruz Warriors Courtesy Crew assists fans throughout the game. As a member of the Courtesy Crew, responsibilities include: providing guests with the best service experience imaginable; assisting guests with basic team and arena inquiries including seating information; actively seeking interaction with guests to communicate in ways that enhance their experience; actively seeking opportunities to create special memories for our guests; participating in game entertainment segments such as dances, contests and cheers; enforcing the facility's policies and procedures to ensure the best experience for all arena guests; reporting potential fan issues or concerns to a supervisor for resolution as needed; maintaining minor crowd control before, during, and after games or special events; working with all Team Members to maintain an extremely clean and professional facility, this includes light cleaning and notifying supervisors of any spills, garbage, or safety concerns; greeting guests entering and exiting the arena in a courteous manner including saying "Welcome to Kaiser Permanente Arena"; assisting with the distribution of promotional items as directed; and performing all other assigned duties to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for our guests. Qualifications must include: proficient communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a public environment, dependable, self-motivated, an excellent listener, ability and willingness to explain and enforce facility policies in a courteous manner; and availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays. Previous customer service experience preferred.

Guest Service Representative
The Guest Services Representative is responsible for pre-game set-up and post-game breakdown of guest services areas; as well as directing and assisting guests to give them the best experience possible. Applicants should actively seek interaction with guests to communicate in ways that enhance their experience; enforce the facility's policies and procedures to ensure the best experience for all arena guests; report potential issues or concerns to a supervisor for resolution as needed; work with all Team Members to maintain an extremely clean and professional facility, which includes light cleaning and notifying supervisors of any spills, garbage, or safety concerns; and perform all other duties assigned to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for our guests. Qualifications must include: strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a public environment, availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays, dependability, being self-motivated and possessing excellent customer service skills.

Ticket Taker
Individuals are needed to welcome fans and scan tickets as they enter Kaiser Permanente Arena. Ticket takers are the first line of Team Members as fans enter Kaiser Permanente Arena and must therefore be friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about general Santa Cruz Warriors information. Individuals must work well under pressure, be enthusiastic and cooperative, and have excellent communication skills.

Merchandise Vendor
Individuals are needed to greet fans and capture their attention as they enter Kaiser Permanente Arena for Santa Cruz Warriors home games. Merchandise Vendors need to be able to be on their feet walking/running on flat surfaces and upstairs for an extended period of time. It is important to be outgoing and approachable, have a strong and clear confident voice, make a good first impression, and grab the fans' attention. The Merchandise Vendor is also responsible for handling cash and must be reliable and well organized. Previous Guest Services and/or cash handling experience preferred.

Transportation Specialist
The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking for safe, professional drivers to assist in the transportation of player and coachers to and from events at Kaiser Permanente Arena. Individuals must be discrete, hardworking and professional at all times. Applicants must have a California Commercial Driverís License with a passenger endorsement.

Marketing and Operations Associate
This position will provide an introductory experience working for a professional basketball team. Team members will assist with the execution of promotional giveaways and contests at Warriors home games and at various events throughout the Santa Cruz area. Responsibilities include the setup and breakdown at promotional events of all types, interacting with fans, clients and venue personnel, as well as assisting fans in any way possible to ensure they have a great experience at Kaiser Permanente Arena. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, must be able to be in front of large crowds and must carry themselves in a professional demeanor. Applicants should be energetic, motivated and able to multi-task. Hours of work include days, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Security
The Santa Cruz Warriors and ACT Security are looking for personable and experienced security guards for events at Kaiser Permanente Arena. Applicants should be able to work with large crowds and should be available to work hours that include days, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Applicants must have a current California guard card issued by BSIS.
