Santa Cruz Warriors Defeat Reno Bighorns
Warriors Season Record Stands at 18-9


The Santa Cruz Warriors topped the Reno Bighorns 114-105 Thursday night in a game where every Warriors player on the active roster scored.

The Santa Cruz Warriors were led by Travis Leslie, who scored a game-high 22 points. Stefhon Hannah scored 21, while Darington Hobson was two assists shy of a triple-double, recording 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Every player on the Reno Bighorns who stepped on the court scored in double figures. The Bighorns were paced by Dar Tucker, who scored 21 points, while Samardo Samuels logged a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards.

Santa Cruz jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game and never trailed. The Warriors’ largest lead was 16, which came near the end of the first half. The Bighorns used a 34-point third quarter to make the game close in the second half, cutting the deficit to just four multiple times. Santa Cruz was able to outlast Reno by closing the game on a 7-1 run.

Reno held the slight edge on shooting advantage (45.5%-45.2%), but the Warriors out-rebounded their opponent (50-37) and scored more points in the paint (48-42).
