Liana is in her third season with the Vipers. She started off as an intern in October 2008 and was promoted to Community Relations liaison after graduating from the University of Texas Pan-American in December with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing. She was later promoted to Director of Community Relations and for this season also added the title of Group Sales Manager.
Under Liana’s watch, the Vipers have expanded their community activity to unprecedented levels, leading the league during each of the last two years.
Born and raised in McAllen, Liana has been known to play on various city-league teams, including basketball, softball, kickball and volleyball. Liana played basketball for McAllen Memorial High School, helping them to the district title as a junior. While on the team, Liana pulled off a rare double-double, taking the SAT and playing in a game in Laredo on the same day.
Liana, who currently resides in Edinburg, is an avid country music fan and also enjoys traveling.
