At the State Farm Arena our goal is to deliver the ultimate fan experience for you every night. We have done our best to program this arena as the ultimate entertainment complex in South Texas and the loudest in the NBA Development League. We hope that you enjoy your experience!

This guide has been developed to highlight some of the features and services available to you while enjoying Vipers games If you need more information, you may visit Guest Relations on the main concourse at the Arena. ADA Accessibility
The State Farm Arena meets or exceeds all structural and service requirements as stipulated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. All levels have elevator access and ADA seating.

Alcoholic Beverages
Texas Law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Proper identification must be shown to purchase any alcoholic beverage.

Banners, Signs & Balloons
Banners and signs are permitted in the State Farm Arena provided they are not in poor taste, do not obstruct the view of any guest or stadium signage, nor present a safety hazard. Banners of a commercial nature are not permitted without a specific permit and/or permission of building management.



Box Office Hours
The box office for the State Farm Arena is located on the 10th Street side. Tickets can also be purchased by phone through TicketMaster or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The box office is open on Saturdays for the on-sale of events & on event days only.

Cameras/Recording Devices
Video cameras, digital cameras, and audio or video recorders of any kind are not permitted in the State Farm Arena unless approved in advance by show or building management.

Children’s Admission
Children two and under do not require a ticket for admission. However, in order for a child to have his or her own seat, a ticket is required.

Code of Conduct
The NBA Development League, Rio Grande Valley Vipers and the State Farm Arena are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience. We therefore ask you to refrain from any disruptive behavior, such as fighting, throwing objects, attempting to enter the court or interrupt play, or using improper language or gestures. Spectators engaging in such behavior are subject to ejection and arrest. Please report any violations of these rules to the nearest usher, security or guest services staff member. Thank you and enjoy the game.

Concessions/Dining
The State Farm Arena offers a wide variety of food and beverage choices. Concession favorites such as popcorn, hotdogs and pretzels are offered along with a variety of other selections from specialty vendors.

Charities and organizations seeking support for an upcoming event or program should send a formal request to:

Or send fax requests to (956) 972-1150. The request must appear on official letterhead and be delivered at least four weeks prior to the event. Please include the date and purpose of the event, the 501c-3 tax number for the organization and a contact name, address, telephone number and email address.

Doors Open
All doors open 60 minutes prior to tip-off.

Directions To The Arena

From the East – Take Expressway 83 West towards McAllen to 10th Street (Hwy 336). Go left on 10th Street heading towards Hidalgo. Arena is approximately one half mile within Hidalgo city limits on the right hand side.

From the South – Take the Hidalgo International Bridge into Hidalgo. Follow 23rd Street (Hwy 115) North approximately 2 miles. Arena is on the right hand side.

From the West - Take Expressway 83 East towards McAllen to 10th Street (Hwy 336). Go right on 10th Street heading towards Hidalgo. Arena is approximately one half mile within Hidalgo city limits on the right hand side.

From the North – Follow 281 South to Expressway 83. Take Expressway 83 West towards McAllen to 10th Street (Hwy 336). Go left on 10th Street heading towards Hidalgo. Arena is approximately one half mile within Hidalgo city limits on the right hand side.

Emergency Exits
In the event of an emergency, please remain clam and WALK to the nearest exits, located at several points throughout the building. Please refer to the arena map for exact locations.

Eviction Policy
The following behaviors or activities will result in eviction from the State Farm Arena:
  • Use of profanity or unacceptable language of any type
  • Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside the arena
  • Unacceptable dress
  • Public drunkenness
  • Entering or attempting to enter any off-limit area, such as the playing surface, backstage or restroom of the opposite sex
  • Participating in a fight or instigating a physical or verbal altercation
  • Verbally abusing, threatening, or intimidating other patrons or building employees
  • Throwing objects of any type at other patrons, employees or guests of the State Farm Arena
  • Possession of stolen tickets
  • Possession of any unauthorized banner or sign

    First Aid
    Safety of all occupants of the State Farm Arena is of primary concern. Any unsafe condition or activity should be immediately reported to Security or an arena employee for medical assistance.

    Lost & Found
    During the game, you may inquire about lost and found items at any of the Guest Relations locations. For inquiries following an event, please call (956)972-1144 during normal business hours.

    Lost or Stolen Tickets
    Lost or stolen tickets purchased through the Vipers will be replaced with the proper documentation. Lost tickets may be replaced by written request by the person who originally purchased the tickets. Ticket holders must include exact seat location and account number when requesting replacement of a lost ticket.

    Tickets that are purchased from any other outlet other than the Vipers, must contact the point of purchase for replacement.

    Mascot
    Fang and Venom, presented by Kidiatric Therapy Services, are the Vipers mascots.

    Merchandise/Souvenirs
    Merchandise is sold at Vipers games and at the Vipers Pro Shop at Uptown Plaza in McAllen.

    The box office accepts many forms of payment including American Express, MasterCard, Visa, check or cash.

    Prohibited Items
    The following items are prohibited in the Dodge Arena:
  • Cans, bottles, coolers, or containers of any kind
  • Laser pens or laser products of any kind
  • Flags/signs with poles
  • Fireworks
  • Any type of food or beverage
  • Oversized packages
  • Weapons or contraband of any kind
  • Animals or pets (except those assisting ADA patron)
  • Any other items determined as unacceptable by the Dodge Arena

    In the event that prohibited items are revealed during a search, patrons will be permitted to return to the items to their vehicle or dispose of them. The State Farm Arena does not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.
