Vipers Reacquire Saunders, Waive Foster

McAllen, TEXAS – The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers today announced they have reacquired forward Damian Sanders. To make room for Sanders on the roster, the team has waived center Will Foster.

Saunders previously appeared in 22 games this season for the Vipers, averaging 28.3 minutes and 10.77 ppg. The D-League rookie was a two-time Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year at Duquesne and finished his collegiate career as the only player in history 250 total assists (281), steals (277) and blocks (300).

Saunders will suit up with the Vipers when they host the Texas Legends Monday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
