VIPERS TRADE TIM OHLBRECHT

MCALLEN, Texas, March 1, 2014 – Rio Grande Valley Vipers General Manager Gianluca Pascucci announced today that the team has traded center Tim Ohlbrecht to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. RGV will receive Fort Wayne’s 2014 first round draft pick.

“We would like to thank Tim for everything he has done with us in the past two years. He was a key member of our 2013 Championship run. We wish him luck, and he will always remain a member of the Vipers family,” Pascucci said.

The Vipers are on the road tonight at the Tulsa 66ers. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. (CT) at the SpiritBank Event Center. Locally, fans can join the Vipers for a Watch Party, hosted by Pepper’s at Uptown.
