Tryout and Registration information for the 2012-13 RGV Vipers Snake Charmers Dance Team is now available! Auditions will be held June 30 and July 1 at the Summit Sports Club.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Graduate or GED
- $25 Registration Fee (nonrefundable)
- Attached photo (non-returnable)
- Must be able to attend all rehearsals, games, appearances and other NBA D-League personal activities
- If selected, a contractual commitment of one (1) year is required
WHAT TO WEAR
- 2-piece attire
- Top: Dance/Athletic Bra Top
- Bottom: Dance shorts with suntan/nude dance tights
- Dance Shoes (any type – jazz, ballet, character, split sole Capezios, etc.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Auditions are closed to the public except for Finals – open to public
- The judge’s sheets for dance audition and interview are not available for you or to the public
- All rehearsals are held during weekday evenings beginning at 7:00pm and usually conclude at 10:00p.m. You will be given a schedule of rehearsals at our first meeting
TOTAL COMMITMENT IS REQUIRED
- Rehearsals 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. 2-3 times per week
- Personal Appearances (Charity & Paid)
- Some possible travel
- Cheer and Dance Camps for Children

TENTATIVE AUDITION SCHEDULE Location: Summit Sports Club
Saturday, June 30
8:30 – 9:30 a.m. – REGISTRATION 9:30 – 10 a.m. – Warm-Up 10-11 a.m. – Learn Routine #1 11– 11:30 a.m. – Review on your own 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Preliminary Auditions 2 p.m. – POST #’s that have moved on to Semi-Finals 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. – Learn Routine #2 3 – 4 p.m. – Review on your own 4 – 5:30 p.m. – Semi Finals Auditions 6:30 p.m. – POST #’s that have moved on to Finals (reassign numbers to Finalists.)
Sunday, July
9 a.m. – noon – Interview with panel of judges (Professional Business Attire) 1:30 – 3 p.m. – Finals Audition Routine #1 (OPEN TO PUBLIC) 3 – 4:30 p.m. – Finals Audition Routine #2 (OPEN TO PUBLIC) 6:30 p.m. – ANNOUNCE the New 2012-13 Rio Grande Valley Vipers Snake Charmers
