Long Lam - Athletic Trainer
Long Lam enters his first season as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Lam has athletic training experience across all areas of sports – professional, collegiate and high school. Prior to joining the Vipers’ staff, Lam completed an Athletic Training Internship with the Houston Rockets, where he assisted in all areas of athletic training. Lam served as an athletic training graduate assistant at the University of Houston for two seasons. In Houston, he also worked the 2011 NCAA Slam Dunk and 3-point contests, and the 2011 Senior Olympics for Memorial Hermann. During his undergraduate years, Lam served as a student trainer at the University of Texas-Arlington athletic department. Lam is a 2010 graduate of the University of Texas-Arlington and earned his Master’s of Education in Sport and Fitness Administration from the University of Houston in 2011.
