The Reno Bighorns are holding open tryouts to look for the best players available for their inaugural 2008-09 season.

Saturday, October 18, 2:30-5 pm ET

Tryout Requirements:

All players must be at least 18 years of age and a High School Graduate by November 19, 2008.

Players must submit all required forms (in the forms links below).

Registration Fee:

There is a $150.00 non-refundable fee. Money orders/cashiers checks should be made out to the Reno Bighorns.

Directions to MSG Training Center:

Northbound (from Manhattan West Side) – Henry Hudson Parkway to Saw Mill River Parkway North. Take Exit 23 marked Saw Mill River Road- Eastview. Turn right on onto Old Saw Mill River Road. The Madison Square Garden Training Center is located approximately ¼ mile on the right. Make a right at the second light before the Landmark of Eastview overpass to reach the main entrance.

Northbound (from Manhattan East Side) – FDR Drive North over Willis Avenue Bridge to Major Deegan North to Saw Mill River Parkway North. Take Exit 23 marked Saw Mill River Road – Eastview. Turn right onto Old Saw Mill River Road. The Madison Square Garden Training Center is located approximately ¼ mile on the right. Make a right at the second light before the Landmark of Eastview overpass to reach the main entrance.

Southbound – I – 684 or Taconic State Parkway South to Saw Mill River Parkway South. Take Exit 23 marked Saw Mill River Road – Eastview. Turn left onto Old Saw Mill Road. The Madison Square Garden Training Center is located approximately ¼ mile on the right at the second light before the Landmark of Eastview overpass to reach the main entrance.

Eastbound – New York State Thruway across Tappan Zee Bridge to I –287 East. Take Exit 1 marked Saw Mill River Parkway North. Stay on the Saw Mill River Parkway for approximately two miles. Take Exit 23 marked Saw Mill River Road – Eastview. Turn right onto Old Saw Mill River Road. The Madison Square Garden Training Center is located approximately ¼ mile on the right. Make a right at the second light before the Landmark of Eastview overpass to reach the main entrance.

Westbound – From Route 287 West, take Exit 3 onto Sprain Brook Parkway North. Take Exit marked 100C-100 Eastview. Go left onto Route 100C for approximately one mile. Bear right onto Old Saw Mill River Road and the Madison Square Garden Training Center is located approximately ¼ mile on the left. Make a left at the fourth light immediately after the Landmark of Eastview overpass to reach the main entrance.
