RENO, NEV., December 13, 2012 — The Reno Bighorns will hold their first basketball camp of the season on Wednesday, December 26 and Thursday, December 27, the team announced today.

The camp will be run by Bighorns assistant coach, Deane Martin. Martin was the head coach at the University of Idaho last year.

“The goal of the camp is to develop basketball skills at a young age,” said Martin. “We will be working on passing, shooting, dribbling, one-on-one and also playing competitive five-on-five games.”

The camp will be held at the Alf Sorensen Community Center at 1400 Baring Boulevard in Sparks. Wednesday’s session is for girls in second-sixth grade and Thursday is for boys, second-sixth grade. Both days run 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The cost of the camp is $75. Each camper will receive a free ticket to a Bighorns game with their registration.
